Angela Duckworth

Angela Duckworth holds TEDxPenn's license from TED. She is the person who makes the conference possible.

She is the Rosa Lee and Egbert Chang Professor at the University of Pennsylvania and faculty co-director of the Penn-Wharton Behavior Change for Good Initiative. A 2013 MacArthur Fellow and a former public-school math and science teacher, she is the author of Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance, and her TED Talk on the subject is among the most viewed of all time.
